Letting anyone vote without requiring proof of identity and residency is opening the door to massive voter fraud. Who doesn't have a picture ID in this day and age? And don't tell me they're hard to get, because they aren't. DMV issues identity cards; all someone has to do is get there. There are buses that offer transportation to senior citizens. Consider this: if people can buy beer or wine at the local grocery store, and show a picture ID without complaint, why shouldn't they do the same when voting.
