Voter Registration Application

I agree with the previous comments that the proposed changes do not offer any improvement to the current form and the high cost of retrofitting in each county and city in a time where their is not enough money to cover other needed projects.

And I fully agree with the comments of the following people that made the same findings that I have found and agree with and have stated it better then I would have.

Richard J (Jake) Washburne General Registrar, Albemarle County on 6/23/15  3:14 pm called: "Concerns re proposed new Va. Voter Reg. App. and accompanying Regulation"

STEPHANIE ILES, Norfolk Office of Elections on 6/24/15  1:14 pm called: "Proposed Changes to Existing Virginia Voter Registration Application Form"

Cheryl Jones, Fairfax Co. Office of Elections on 6/25/15  2:18 pm called: "Instructions need a lot of work! 1" and her follow up comment on 7/1/15  1:51 pm called "VR Application form instructions recommendatons, part 2"

If you put this into affect it will cause the potential for voter fraud, abuse and mistakes.  Furthermore, the omission of the SSN prohibits registrars from checking to see if the applicant is a convicted felon.
