Prosed change to VA Voyer Registration form

I am editing the comment from a Mr. Phillips who states my view almost exactly. Here is my comment, edited:  There is nothing wrong with the current application form. To suggest that checking a box is confusing or difficult is absurd. What this proposal indicates to me is an attempt to remove any possibility of prosecution for falsifying the voter registration form. The application form actually saves time because if you can't answer "Yes" to the question "Are you a citizen of the United States" then there is no need to proceed unless your intent is to illegally vote. When you attempt to fix a problem that isn't a problem there is always an alterior motive. Leave the voter registration form as is! Focus more time on tightening the voter photo ID requirements instead and prevent illegal voting in the State of Virginia.
