I am a live-in caretaker for my niece who needs almost round the clock supervision and care. I strongly believe that the facilitators are needed as an advocate for the individuals and caretakers. I have never had an issue getting a hold of them or getting answers from them. On the other hand I get less support and answers from direct government employees DMAS and Medicaid cases managers come to mind. I fear that this would be yet another government position where answers will be hard fought to get and a constant rotation of brokers. This is the one area that is the least amount of headache for me and I fear it will change if service facilitators are discontinued. Also the new decision to only use the app to clock in and out is not convenient for live-in caretakers. This is no start or stop time when you live in the same place.
