Many people are terrified of going to dentists.  By allowing unqualified and uneducated dental employees to work on teeth you are adding to the deep fears many people already have of dentists.  As a professional organization, your organization should understand how vital it is to have educated persons working on someone's teeth.  A patients health and well being should be in the forefront of all decisions you make.  Cutting costs on the professionals working in a dental office is NOT the way to go.  For many decades dentists have had to employ educated and qualified professionals. Now you want to change this to save dentists money.  How ludicrous to save the dentists money at the risk of the patients health.
