Call the Owners of the facility or facilities & meet w/them. In the facility. Review licenses, structure of corporation, responsibilities, managers, budgets, meet w/Licensed Administrators of each facility, charge nurses, residents and families. Take a walk in the hallways w/owners. Charge nurses can do inspections weekly. Report violations, complaints, State can corroborate & advise facility of corrective actions. Meet w/ombudsmen. Enable home based long term care through visiting nurses plus Medicaid for the eligible. Meeting in a conference room far from the centers of residential homes is not correcting the abysmal scores and Family photos of neglect.I offer my assistance as a retired nurse from Vermont.
