I am  a member of Orange Volunter Fire Dept. More to the point, I was an active member of the Second Alarmers Assn and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County PA for 16 years. As such, I can tell you that any EMS personnel will be subject to entering a high-tension situation on any call. They should certainly be entitled to protect themselves and their crew at any time. This law need to be changed.
