I would like to highlight that the proposed changes will significantly increase the administrative burden on LMHPs. This role is already in high demand, particularly in rural areas where recruitment is challenging. Adding complexity to scheduling and supervision responsibilities may jeopardize providers’ ability to fill LMHP positions and could disrupt the balance between clinical duties and administrative oversight.

Additionally, this new framework introduces more complexity in documentation and supervision standards. Will the state provide additional funding to help provider's track supervision, team composition, and client contact? Will these changes provide gaps in our services unintendedly?
