Allergic Reactions/ Diabetic Needs in Children

Good afternoon, my name is Adrienne Fridley. I am a parent of four daughters enrolled in grades first to seventh. In total, three of my children have food allergies with 504 plans submitted with the school to include prepared foods to accommodate their allergies as well as one of these children has a diagnosed autoimmune disease called Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE). There are other children in this same school system that have diabetes, peanut allergies , etc that should be taken into consideration amongst all public school systems. Especially those in rural areas where is it hard to find things to accommodate children that may have dairy, egg, gluten, corn or other allergies. There should not be a limit on what these children can eat at school because some of these children may have only the meals at school provided to them to no fault of their own.
