The dental profession is always concerned about that overall health and well being of our patients. We actively participate in the necessary training to be able to manage medical emergencies in our offices. The proposed request is unnecessary and will be burdensome, particularly to those dentists who do not utilize conscious sedation. I ask the the Board of Dentistry to not pursue this request and to reject the proposal.
