I support the rule making for instituting a regular survey of the menhaden population to determine the numbers of fish and their location within the Chesapeake Bay.  I also support a decrease from the current level of heavy menhaden fishing from the body of the bay until it is clear that the menhaden population in the bay can be stabilized and increased.
