I am in favor of this regulation which would help stop yet another disruption in the food chain and protect at least two native species. Osprey have been featured in our local area of Colonial Beach. That attention has helped people become more aware of our responsibility to care for our environment if we wish to enjoy the beauty nature provides. Watching osprey weaken and die from lack of food and seeing the population decrease is a distressing scenario that we should prevent from happening. Passage of this measure would aid in that regard.
