I support this petition that would protect the Bay ecosystem by reducing the menhadin harvest and allow native species like osprey to recover. Osprey are in trouble. Overfishing of menhadin has cut off a major food source for these magnificent birds. Numbers of osprey are decreasing. Don't let the osprey, a keystone species in the Bay, become an endangered species.
