I support this petition and agree with its position. How can we expect to restore the stripped bass population when the Menhaden Industry is raping the bay of the main food source for these fish. They are not only catching menhaden in their nets but all the other fish that are chasing after them for food. There has been one person from the Menhaden Industry that can articulate how they prevent the catching of other species of fish that are normally targeted by the recreational fishing community. Get them out of the bay and keep them three miles off the coast where they should be fishing.
