The proposed standards requiring that the times be documented for arrival and departure would be extremely burdensome on teachers. Mornings and afternoons, drop off and pick up are the busiest times of day. Teachers are completing Daily Health Observations, changing diapers, serving breakfast etc. It is not always possible to stop what they are doing to record an exact time. I struggle to see where requiring this will enhance practices already in place for monitoring supervision and accurate attendance.
