We feel that the Orientation training should be counted toward the required hours to be considered a lead teacher. It covers many of the same topics outlined for lead status and since it has been developed by the state should be considered quality training content.  It is redundant to cover such topics during agency orientation, then again in the state orientation and yet again in the lead teacher trainings.
