The commercial fishing industry needs to be monitored and regulated. They are overfishing the menhaden in the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean which affects the number of Menhaden entering our Bay waters. It appears the present monitoring and regulation in place is based on an honor system. Overall, it's an uphill battle; the Virginia politicians don't want to give up the lucrative donations given to them by Omega Protein.
