Floor beds are aligned with safe sleep practices. They provide a firm, flat surface for infant and child sleep aligned with AAP guidelines. 

swings, carseats, and other containers are not safe sleep spaces because they place young children in unsafe sleeping positions. Properly supervised floor beds do not create this same hazard. 

Please continue to allow the safe use of floor beds in early childhood care spaces.
