Menhaden harvest needs to stop

Speaking for myself,my family,   and my crew. Menhaden lobbyist and omega has become too large and too big to stop. They FILL, the whole entire meeting room with OMEGA people, not allowing any fisherman or residents, or concerned Virginians to voice their opinion at these meetings. They take up all of the time to speak on purpose FILIBUSTERING anytime that average citizens may have to voice their opinions to the commission. VMRC knows this, and allows THIS every year without providing a big enough venue for all concerned Virginians to VOICE their opinion against the industrials menhaden complex. There is no stopping that much money when they have that many millions of dollars tied into them per year. They use that money to bride politicians, contributed the maximum amount to both political parties, and make a mockery of the public, the rule of law, and any regulating agency who tries to stop them.
THIS is corrupt on so many levels and needs to be stopped. they are raping the Chesapeake Bay killing off the gray trout, killing off the Croker, destroying the spot population, directly contributed to the bluefish shortage across the East Coast, and are not stewards of our bay and our resource as Virginians. Enough is enough, put a two-year ban on them and see the IMMEDIATE ecological difference, the impact that it will have on all local fisheries, all local oysters, all local osprey all local fisherman, all local residents, will notice the improved health and fisheries of the Chesapeake Bay.
We implore you to make a decision and not kick the can down the road for another agency to do the dirty work. This needs to stop here and put in a chokehold so that WE decide how much they get to destroy the bay, not them.
