Infants Shouldn't Be In Holding Equipment

I'm so glad to see so many advocating for Bodie however I think true horror is that swings are not sleep equipment. I think all restrictive equipment like swings, bouncers, jumperoos, and the like should not be allowed in child care. Even at home it is so easy to have time pass fast with a child in those containers and we know they are not the best way to support learning. Virginia could ban all artificial holding equipment for play because if children are playing in that equipment they will fall asleep in it and if they fall asleep it's really hard to wake them up to move them even though it is unsafe for them to stay in the equipment.
