Absolutely support this. Add Asian Wisteria and bamboo please!

It is absolutely necessary to expand the list of noxious weeds in Virginia. These non-native invasives are taking over and suppressing the native vegetation that is so important for our insects, pollinators, birds, water creatures and mammals. Along with expanding the list of noxious weeds, priority needs to be given to treating and eradicating them. Localities, the state government and agencies, and organizations need to combine forces and finances and volunteers to address the noxious weeds that are depleting our native natural habitats. This requires a long-term view, of 20+ years or more, to understand the value and importance of acting now. If left unattended, the problem of noxious weeds will be even greater in 10, 20 and 30 years. Then it will cost more money and more Human Resources to address it, not to mention the greater ecosystem and economic damage that will have resulted in this time. Furthermore, there need to be laws against selling and propagating these noxious weeds. Under no circumstances should these be sold in stores.
