Stay in RGGI

I am deeply disturbed that Governor Youngkin and the DEQ/Air Board would consider pulling Virginia out of a legislatively mandated program that provides so much benefit to the citizens as RGGI. First, I believe any effort to undercut the decision of the voters and the General Assembly is undemocratic and illegal. Second, I want to know how the Governor intends to replace the money that would be raised by RGGI to cover the costs of flood resilience and weatherization programs. I am deeply disturbed that the Governor is advancing the interests of corporate polluters at the expense of citizens and also the next generation of young people who are facing an unlivable climate without immediate action--actions that RGGI was helping to ensure. Do not remove us from RGGI.
