I speak for many friends and neighbors in writing that Virginia stay in the RGGI agreement.  Both scientific data and public opinion support this position.  Data show the benefits to Virginians by being a part of RGGI.  This initiative to withdraw from the agreement is based on political motives, not on science, and is an example of the hypocrisy that some political leaders exhibit to further their careers.  Our communities, our health, and our economies should not be sacrificed for political ambitions.
