VA NEEDS RGGI

Virginia must remain an Ally with neighboring states in combatting the Climate Crisis!!

As we know, climate chaos is killing us right NOW and threatening our children's future.

We ALL need to work together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Whether you consider the issue from an economic viewpoint, a public health viewpoint, or an ethical viewpoint, RGGI is the best way to reduce pollution and improve energy efficiency.

Economically, RGGI is the fairest way to allocate the cost of repairing damages such as cross-jurisdictional flooding.

Health-wise, it is proven that RGGI improves air quality.

Ethically, we have an obligation to keep our neighbors safe. That's why 11 states joined together. Clearly we should be encouraging other states to join us!

VA residents DEMAND ongoing participation in RGGI.
