Stay in RGGI

At a granular level, our towns and counties need a predictable way of preparing for and dealing with the increasing challenges of flooding. Between sea-level rise on the coast, to increased rainfall inland, the funds provided by RGGI are critical.

At a high level, we're relying on our legislators to make choices that reduce Virginia's emissions and help us progress towards addressing the worst impacts of climate change. I don't see an alternative being offered in replacement to RGGI.

Until there's both an equivalent or better mechanism of both reducing emissions and generating funds to support localities from flooding, we need to stay in RGGI.
