Leaving RGGI would be terrible mistake

I believe that withdrawing from RGGI would be a huge step backward for Virginia. A Columbia University study published in 2020 looked at nine participating states over a five year period from 2009, when RGGI started, to 2014 and found a definite reduction in fine particulate matter emissions in those states which resulted in improving children's health, including reduced cases of children's asthma, preterm births, autism spectrum disorders and low birth weight. The health care savings were estimated to amount to $350M over the five years.  RGGI has huge benefits for Virginia and we should stay in it.
