Virginia should REMAIN in RGGI. We are seeing in this summer's extreme weather the devastating consequences of climate change, and we should be doing all in our power to prevent further warming, including participating in RGGI. Let us suppose that the governor is right that RGGI adds a few dollars to our electric bills - this is far less than what we will all pay for the damage done by further climate change (floods, drought, wildfires, extreme heat, loss of crops, etc.). We need to do all that we can to preserve a habitable world for our children and grandchildren.
