Picking Winners & Losers

I have worked my entire career to help political candidates and organizations that will advance the principles of limited government and free enterprise. Our Country and our Commonwealth were founded on these principles. It is not the role of the government to decide the winners & losers in any industry in a way that does not benefit the general public nor advance public safety. In reviewing these regulations, I believe that is happening here. What is worse, it is charitable organizations that are being hindered in this case.

My suggestion is that VDACS reviews the numerous informed comments posted before mine that detail in great specificity the ways in which these proposed regulations are putting burdens on charitable gaming that are not put on for-profit gaming. Charitable gaming should be regulated in the same way as for-profit gaming— it is not for the government to decide the fate of an industry. This is for the market and for the people to decide.
