VDACS, it is your job to stand up for charities and we would like you to consider making changes to the regulations to make sure that poker can pay its bills and have enough money left over to give charity to those in need. VDACS requires charities to follow 11VAC20-20-110 for its use of proceeds formula, which negatively impacts charitable poker. Charities would not be able to host tournaments, as they would not raise enough funds to meet expenses and the mandated use of proceeds. One solution is to adopt the recently established pull tab formula for poker. We would really like to see VDACS sticking up for charities and helping us to grow and benefit many people in need. Please consider changing the regulations to allow for charities to survive and continue the impactful work they do.
