I urge you to base regulations on women's health clinics on evidence-based medical practices. Forcing these clinics to have wider corridors etc. will in no way improve the health of women. These clinics have a proven safety record. These proposed burdensome and costly regulations may cause women's clinics to close, thus limiting low-income women's access to cancer screening, contraception methods etc. As a practical matter every dollar spent on family planning SAVES the government some four dollars! In addition, if the proposers of these regulations are trying to eliminate abortions it will only force women to try illegal methods, causing much more harm to women's health than corridors which are of a certain width.
