Dear members of the Virginia Board of Health:
I strongly oppose the proposed permanent regulations that include setting hospital-care level standards for outpatient community health care facilities, or regulations that will result in limiting people's (esp low-income) ability to find low cost reproductive care, including family planning, STD testing and treatment and safe abortion care.
Having to meet onerous standards for these facilities that are not inpatient hospitals will result in increased costs and closings, limiting care important to many families and individuals.
Please do not levy unneccessary standards on facilitiies crucial to the well-being of many and also of our community.
Thank you for your consideration. I pray you will bring reason to your deliberations.
