Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

The clinic recommendations under consideration are unnecessary and clearly not related to improving anyone's health. Abortion procedures have a less than 1% rate of complication; these new regulations are an attempt to fix a problem that doesn't exist. However, forcing underfunded abortion clinics to adopt these unnecessary regulations will greatly reduce women's access to abortion (and many other reproductive services), especially poor women and women of color. Passing these regulations would be a direct attack on women's health in Virginia.
