I want to urge you to reject any legislation that discriminates against faith-based child placement agencies.  I further ask you to search your hearts and make it possible to provide our most vulnerable citizens the most stable home conditions possible, including the blessing of a mother and a father.  In private adoption situations, it is vitally important that the birth mother, if she so chooses, have input on matters such as the religious background of prospective parents as well as environmental and economic considerations.  It is our moral obligation to provide legislation that is in the absolute best interest of these little ones.
