With repect to the change stipulating supervision "every 30 days from initial evaluation" rather than every 30 days, I'm curious as to why this is necessary.  For example, if I evaluate and then treat a patient for two weeks, and then send a PTA to see that patient, I would then have to go back to see that patient two weeks later.  Can someone explain the rationale for that change.  It seems to punish the PT who chooses to maintain early direct contact with the patient.
