As a Virginia resident concerned about protecting the planet as well as keeping Virginian’s safe from ever increasing threats of severe weather and natural disasters, I am deeply concerned about Governor Youngkin’s plan to withdraw the Commonwealth from the RGGI. In addition, this action bypasses legislative action on an important issue that effects all of us and ignores compliance with legislation passed by the General Assembly in 2020. The Governor offers no replacement plan to protect the Commonwealth or her citizens from the effects of climate change. I strongly oppose!
