I have an aunt who was abused by a heterosexual foster father and other female relatives sexually abused by heterosexual men when they were children. What is needed to protect children is NOT to keep them from potential good adoptive parents because of arbitrary rules and regulations but to make sure that ANY good potential parent can be considered.

I also believe that our US and Virginia constitution guarantee equality under the law to every citizen.

I support anti-discrimination policies for adoption in our Commonwealth. These regulations should be about protecting and helping children -- not about helping Republicans win elections.
