The last thing this state needs is to make it easier for CPS to become a vehicle for executing hateful, discriminatory policies like those in Texas, something that seems to be a risk everywhere these days as people around the nation trend to a preference for hating their neighbors out of fear and ignorance rather than getting to know each other and live together.
