I am writing to urge our state of Virginia to continue to participate in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). The shortsightedness and political treachery of the current administration to remove Virginia would continue to allow greater attacks on God's beautiful creation and eliminate programs which help the most vulnerable in our state. The environmental and economic benefits of funds available from low-income housing, families in need of energy help, and flooding relief of the RGGI make this a huge issue for citizens of faith and good conscience.
