I am a strong supporter of all qulified people to have the opportunity to adopt children.  At the end of the day it is about the children needing loving homes and families who want to provide that enviroment to them.

This issue should be about children and not about people because of there one sided beleifs  that would prevent quilified people from raising children.  My partner and I know that one day we want to have children and this is a great way option for us to be able to have children.  We are responsible play an active role in our community and want the chance to provide a safe and loving home for a child.  But becuse of the rules that stand today we would have to leave the Commonwealth for both of use to adopt. 

I strongly urge the board to reconsider this issue.
