Please ensure religious freedom to adoption agencies who would otherwise have to close if you add sexual orientation to the list of discrimination. Religious agencies who do not adopt to same-sex couples do so because they believe it is not in the best interest of the child. They believe the sexual difference--masculinity and femininity--is vital to the health of the child. Please let your tolerance include tolerance of religion...if you take away their rights, then you are really only tolerant of those who ascribe to the same belief system as you. Our county is founded on religious freedom. If we take it away, then we are no long the United States of America and should not call ourselves that.
