All children have a right to a loving, healthy home in which they can thrive.  There is no ethically sound reason to discriminate against a prospective parent or parents on the basis of their race, color, national origin, religious affiliation, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or political affiliation.

Members of religious organizations have the right to hold personal, bigoted, discriminatory beliefs on an individual level. They do not have the right to insert those beliefs into the process of legal adoption. 

Please reinstate the original provisions of the proposed action. Protect potential parents from discrimination.
