In order for gay couples to adopt, the law must discriminate against private organizations that want to discriminate against gay couples from adopting.

In order for private organizations to discriminate against gay couples wanting to adopt, the law must discriminate against gay couples.

The law will discriminate either way, so it should work towards ending discrimination altogether.  Why should the law support organizations that choose to discriminate?  Stop the cycle.
