Maintain Anti-discrimination Policy Language

I would like to voice my support for maintaining the language in the State Board of Social Services rules governing adoption. Children who are stuck in the Social Services system do not need the additional obstacle of discrimination based on a social workers personal prejudices. The ONLY considerations that should be considered are the well-being of the child. And foremost in that child's needs are shelter and love. If these can be provided by an older person, a member of the GLBT community, a disabled parent, or any other group mentioned in the rules language  then  the  Department of Social Services has no business preventing it.
