Continuing education courses

I personally oppose a mandatory requirement form the board for continuing education courses. These requirement by some other boards have created an industry supplying credit hours on line for a fee and most of the coursces offered and their contents are not even worth for second year student, what benifit it will provide to practising engineers. Most of us attend many conventions, technical seminars and use innovative techniques to improve our design and bussines process. This is result of mass lobbying by some companies. Let us not tax our professional engineers any more. Thanks
