Please do not adopt the proposed mandatory continuing education requirements for architect, professional engineer, and land surveyor license holders.  Although the intent of mandatory continuing education is well meaning, the reality of what passes for continuing education would be laughable if not for the high costs associated with these "classes".  Requiring continuing education will not improve the practice of professional engineers in Virginia.
