A note to those few misguided individuals who actually support the continued education program because “they do it in other states and it’s not that bad”. Well, I hope you read the fine print of the proposed legislation, including the concept of “approved courses”, and realize the lunch seminars, books, periodicals, house tours, lectures and other similar events acceptable in other states, would not be considered as acceptable continued education in Virginia. If this crazy thing passes as proposed, be prepared to attend a series of evening classes. Don’t overlook time necessary to manage credits. And, hope you work for large company that can absorb the price.
