This is a thinly veiled attempt by educators and self-appointed registrars to generate another source of income and diminish professional competition. Education obtained by practicing Architecture is the most expensive and the most memorable means to obtain a professional education (thus the internship). The creation of another bureaucracy to lend an air of superiority to "education of the profession" implies that experience of practice is inadequate and would be an insult and injury to all practicing professionals.
