Parental Comments about Dept. of Health Guidelines for Public Schools

I want to register a caution to School Board or Health Dept. elected, hired, or appointed.  Many citizens such as I strongly object to what has been happening in the Loudoun County school system, whereby citizens attending meetings and speaking up to register objection to actions or proposed actions by County officials have been ejected from meetings, silenced, and targeted for as terrorists.

As citizens of the United States, these attendees have the right to free speech, regardless of whether or not the meeting administrators believe that speech to be offensive or contrary to the actions or opinions of the governing administrators.

Those who interfere with these Constitutional rights need to be held accountable for breaking the law.  They also should be dismissed from the positions whose responsibilities they are abusing.  This can be done by voting for those who are elected officials, ousted by virtue of dismissal by the Governor, by registering objection to those responsible for hiring them, or by filing lawsuits as appropriate.

The pressure to dismiss the bodies, agency administrators, or employees responsible for usurping the rights of parents and targeting them as enemies of the State, has built to a point where any or all of these methods will likely be employed.  My recommendation is that the governing administrators or directors of the School Boards, and Health Department reassess their priorities to avoid having such actions taken against the bodies for who they are responsible.
