I strongly demand that you eliminate the link to "Advocates for Youth" website from the proposed Virginia Department of Health Virginia School Health Guidelines for public schools. This foolish and uninformed website – listed in the section of the document on “Sexual Health” resources – promotes abortion, a “Free the Pill” campaign, and numerous other items that so many parents, myself included, object to as extremely harmful to the health and well-being of children. This site is listed as a “resource” in the proposed guidelines, when in reality it promotes PRECISELY THE OPPOSITE to what our youth should be taught. Please remove this completely unacceptable site from the proposed school health guidelines document.
