No value for PE's - a goldmine for the continuing education cabal

Engineering requires up to date skills to be successful.  Engineers are trained to be resourceful and learn what is needed without sitting in a classroom and being spoon fed by some educator.  This proposed requirement is unnecessary, unneeded, unwanted by professional engineers, and only wanted by those who would gain (educators).

In my case, making a living now requires too many hours in the day and most weekends.  I learn what I need along the way, and when.  I simply do not have the time and money to transfer to the continuing education cabal.  This proposal is unneeded and unacceptable.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Respectfully,

Thomas E. Richards, PE
